Promotional Guide eLearning
I redesigned a concept sales promotion training to increase the number of promotional sales.
Sales associates are presented with easily accessible information regarding the store’s promotions for the fall season.
Audience: Sales associates of a spice retailer
Responsibilities: Instructional Design, eLearning Development, Voiceover, Visual Design, Storyboard, and Mockups
Tools Used: Articulate Rise 360, Vyond, Audacity, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, MindMeister, MilaNote
The Problem
The client, a mid-size spice retailer, contacted me because they would like to increase their promotional sales.
Their previous method of promoting these types of sales was a single sheet posted in the break room that would change monthly. On average, sales associates spend approximately 5 minutes per shift in the break room resulting in limited exposure to the promotional content.
As the company just finished its spring sales, they expressed that they would like to discuss a potential learning solution to be deployed before their busiest season - fall.
The Solution
The primary barrier to meeting their promotional sales goal was the accessibility of the learning material, therefore, I proposed an eLearning solution using Articulate Rise.
Since the sales associates are on the sales floor for the majority of their shift and have access to a tablet at the sales counter, they would be able to access this eLearning experience more frequently. Additionally, I proposed changing the schedule from monthly to quarterly so sales associates would have access to the content for a longer duration of time.
